Abbey oak is an ultra wide plank oak floor that has been carefully hand finished to create one of the most authentic wooden floors we have seen.  Each 2.2m long length plank has been individually selected for its character and then smoked to enrich the colour.The planks are then kiln dried and bonded to a high quality ply base. A heavy and very deep brushed finished is used to remove the softer parts of the wood grain and enhance the boards natural texture. It is finished in natural oil to protect and enhance the surface. A wide angled bevel edge is then crafted out by hand to give this floor a beautiful reclaimed wood flooring look and feel.
