Parquet oak flooring is one of the most popular floor types available today. Our unfinished Arcadian oak parquet blocks combine the authentic beauty of reclaimed rustic flooring with the tradition of real parquet flooring.

Each solid oak 60mm wide wood block can be glued or nailed individually to the sub-floor in any style, but a herringbone pattern is the most common. The same wood blocks can also be used to form a border.

We have selected a rustic character grade oak for this floor to ensure an outstanding warm floor. This rustic flooring contains considerably more character than regular flooring and often looks more like a reclaimed wood floor (without the added expense). Expect to see colour variation, splits, knots, pin-holes and more. Along with allowing extra for cutting waste, we also recommend purchasing an additional 5% -, in case of any boards that are too rustic for your installation. Normal wastage for the herringbone floors is around 15-20%.
